Wayne and his wife, Ruth Ann, have been married for 65 years and have five children: Russ, Jim, Keith, Angela, and Kristin. Their family has grown to include 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Ruth Ann was a stay-at-home mom before later serving as an office manager. She has faithfully invested in women through Bible Study Fellowship and 35 years of leading women’s Bible studies at Bellevue Baptist Church, and she has a passion for sharing the Gospel.
Wayne retired after a career serving as an Executive Vice President and CFO. He and Ruth Ann were members of Bellevue Baptist Church for 40 years, where Wayne served as Church Administrator from 1992–1994, as a deacon for approximately 37 years, and as a Sunday School teacher for 27 years. Together, Wayne and Ruth Ann have also served on numerous mission trips, including trips to Romania and Honduras.
Wayne’s life verse is John 14:6: Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
